About me
I’m Louise, a Fertility, Endometriosis, Gynecology and Women’s Health specialist based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Louise is a graduate of the Northern College of Acupuncture in York where she completed a 3 year Post Graduate Diploma in TCM Acupuncture graduating in 2012 and the Acupuncture Foundation in Dublin where she completed her Chinese herbal medicine training.
Her career has seen her embark on highly specialised Chinese Medicine post graduate training with Dr Trevor Wing of The Women’s Natural Health Practice on Harley Street, Naava Carman of The Fertility Support Training Company (where she is now one of a handful of affiliate practitioners), Laura Erlich of Los Angeles based Mother Nurture Wellness, and moving into Functional and Integrative Medicine through her one year training with Dr Aviva Romm.
Most recently she has studied intensively with the Australian naturopathic doctor Leah Hechtman for the Advanced Fertility Certification. In addition she has spent years deep diving into Microbiome research and all aspects of ART techniques and has such gained an extensive referral network working with some of the best consultants in the country. Louise has years of clinical experience and maintains her cutting edge research and best practice knowledge to support you on your fertility journey.
After a number of years of working with Endometriosis she also embarked on specialist training courses to deepen her understanding of this condition. This has led to her being invited to produce a lecture for other practitioners on the subject of supporting Endometriosis patients using a Chinese and Western approach. She is extremely passionate about working with this gynecological condition and has created a bespoke programme for patients integrating Chinese and functional medicine.
Louise works with all aspects of fertility, including recurrent miscarriage, immune factor infertility, endocrinological conditions like PCOS (now renamed PMOS) and amenorrhea and is the leading specialist at the Heaton Acupuncture Clinic for all things Gynecology and Fertility.
Louise is a fully licensed practitioner of the British Acupuncture Council, The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, The Acupuncture Fertility Network, and The Natural Women’s Health Practice.
